Full product description

MH-53 Pave Low helicopter

Since the current product page has almost no descriptive text, we’ll build a full description that matches how your EAPS product is positioned and ties directly into it.

This Black Ops 3D engine set is designed for CH‑53 Sea Stallion and MH‑53 Pave Low helicopter models and provides detailed representations of the T64 engine installations used on these aircraft. It is ideal for builders who want to show engines exposed with panels open, or to build a maintenance or refueling diorama.

The parts capture the major features of the engine bays, including engine cases, mounts, plumbing, and bay structure so the top of your CH‑53 / MH‑53 build looks “busy” and properly mechanical when opened up. The set is designed to complement our CH‑53A/C/G & MH‑53 Pave Low EAPS (engine air particle separator) set, which can be posed open or closed to show off the engines.

Key features

  • Detailed T64 engine bay set for CH‑53 Sea Stallion and MH‑53 Pave Low helicopter models.

  • Designed to depict the twin‑engine installations used on most CH‑53 / MH‑53 variants, including Pave Low special operations aircraft.

  • High‑resolution 3D printed parts with engine cases, mounts, and bay detail suitable for open‑panel displays.

  • Perfect complement to our CH‑53A/C/G & MH‑53 Pave Low EAPS set, which can be shown open or closed over these engines.

  • Great for maintenance, flight line, or “walkaround” style dioramas where the helicopter is shown powered down with panels open.

Compatibility

Intended for CH‑53 and MH‑53 model kits representing Sea Stallion, Super Jolly Green Giant, and Pave Low‑series aircraft. Engine geometry is based on the General Electric T64 installations used on these helicopters, including variants like the MH‑53J/M Pave Low.

Installation and use

Plan your build to install the engines before closing the fuselage or upper deck. Test‑fit the engine bays into the kit opening and adjust any internal plastic as needed for clearance. Once satisfied, glue the engines in place, then decide which panels you want open or closed. Combine with our EAPS set in the open position to show off the front of the engine installation, or closed if you only want upper‑deck panels open. Prime and paint using metallics and weathering to simulate heat staining, oil, and accumulated grime typical of working CH‑53 / MH‑53 helicopters.
